Week of Nov 10th Week of Nov 10th

Dear Lincoln Elementary Families,

I wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible teamwork and flexibility demonstrated during Friday’s fire alarm evacuation. Our staff did an outstanding job coming together to ensure that all students remained calm, safe, and cared for throughout the transition to Middle School South. Their professionalism and teamwork truly shined in an unexpected situation.

We also want to give a special shout-out to our students, who did an excellent job listening, following directions, and staying positive during the extended time out of the building. Their cooperation helped make the entire process smooth and reassuring.

Thank you for your ongoing support—and please join us in celebrating our amazing school community for rising to the occasion with resilience and care.

Reminder there is no school for students on Monday Nov 10th as the staff will be involved with professional development.

Thank you,

Claire Giardino, Principal

A Note of Gratitude

As we enter November, a season of gratitude, we invite you to join us in recognizing what—and who—you’re thankful for at Lincoln Elementary School. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your appreciation for anyone on our team: teachers, custodians, office staff, bus drivers, clinic staff, educational aides, support staff, or even a specific group or individual.

Please take a moment to fill out the form below and share your message of thanks. Your kind words make a big impact on our school culture and climate, and I will make sure each note of appreciation is shared with the staff member or team you've recognized.

Thank you for helping us celebrate the amazing people who make Lincoln a special place to learn and grow!

Our neighbors around the school have kindly asked that we all be mindful of parking during arrival, dismissal, and school events. Please avoid blocking driveways or parking too close to mailboxes and intersections.

We want to maintain positive relationships with the families who live near our school—thank you for helping us show respect and courtesy to our community!

Attendance Procedures

Pursuant to House Bill 410, student attendance is calculated in hours. This includes absences that have been identified as both excused and unexcused by the school, as well as planned absences. Being late or tardy to school does calculate into the total hours absent.

1.Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account.

2. Select your child’s profile.

3. Navigate to the Absence Request section.

4. Fill in the required information, including the date and reason for the absence.

5. Submit your request.

You will be able to view the status of your request using the View Requests button.
