Clearwater Elementary STEAM Families

We had a wonderful week at Clearwater! Thank you to all the families who joined us for Walk to School Day on Wednesday. This special event not only reinforces pedestrian safety, but also strengthens our connection with local law enforcement. Thank you to the Sheriffs Department for the yearly support of this event. A huge thank you to Ms. Baker, our COFA Cynthia, and our amazing parent volunteers for making the event a success!

5/6th Grade Dances

Our 5th–6th grade dances were an absolute treat to watch! It was such a joy to see our students confidently perform for their friends and families, showcasing their hard work and enthusiasm. A thank-you to Mr. Vazquez for his dedication and preparation with the students, and to Ms. Ochoa for helping with the morning event. We also extend our gratitude to DJ Ochoa for MC’ing and bringing such wonderful energy to this special celebration for our Clearwater families.

STEPCon- Student Conference

For the third consecutive year, our Science Olympiad Team had the exciting opportunity to attend STEPCon, a premier student STEM conference held in Riverside! This year, we were also thrilled to invite our 5th-grade students who achieved "Standard Exceeded" in Math to join the experience. STEPCon gives students a hands-on look into the world of STEM, sparking curiosity and building the excitement that can inspire them toward future STEM careers.

CLEARWATER STEAM CHALLENGE

Clearwater is excited to launch our Monthly STEAM Challenge Activities to help bridge the connection between school and home! These challenges offer a hands-on opportunity for families to experience what STEAM learning looks like in action and see the incredible engagement it creates in our young learners. When families explore, design, and problem-solve together, students see that curiosity and innovation don't stop at the classroom door. We can't wait to see your family’s creativity shine! CAREER SPEAKER VOLUNTEER FORM

Clearwater Elementary is committed to continuous improvement, and each year our instructional team evaluates our STEAM program to find new ways to enrich learning. This year, we want to highlight real-world careers and show students how their classroom learning connects to the community around them! Every profession plays a vital role in our society, and we would love for our students to learn directly from you.

We are looking for parent and community volunteers willing to share their experiences throughout the school year. Whether your work connects to Math, Science, Social Studies, or Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), your story can spark curiosity in our young learners!

Cashiers & Retail: Practical Math & Social-Emotional Skills
