INFORMATION FOR STAFF
Hello everyone! Bonjour à tous! Shé:kon!
Thanks to everyone for a great first week back from the holidays! A few housekeeping reminders to pass along - if you have not yet handed in your math LRP's please do so as quickly as possible. Also if you have not updated your Student's in the Margins literacy scores to the shared document try and have those complete in the coming days as well. Christine and I have been reviewing the growth of your targeted students, amazing progress! This data, coupled with math diagnostics when complete, are necessary for us to move to the next step in the Student Achievement Plan process.
Next Tuesday, the senior J/I boys bathroom will be closed as plumbing crews complete board directed replacements. This should take about a week. During this time, boys will need to use the bathroom beside the new gym. Lets all be extra vigilant during this time to minimize any interactions between our oldest and younger students.
A reminder to check the updated schedules sent out by Christine if you supervised in kindergarten and the new list of student kinder helpers as well.

Tuesday - Staff meeting after school, 2:40-3:40 in Gwen's room. Jessica J visiting to share ABA with us! Senior boys bathroom closed to students.
Wednesday - Christine away after 11:00 am. Bill attending January admin meeting all day (perhaps virtually on-site). SAC meeting after school. Katherine Cole's from BMS team visiting TPCS - Potter/Smith.

Term 1 Reporting Dates
· The Kindergarten Communication of Learning: Initial Observations and the Elementary Progress Reports are to be submitted no later than Wednesday, November 1, 2023 to the school administrator to ensure there is sufficient time to review and for teachers to make revisions as needed.
· The Kindergarten Communication of Learning: Initial Observations and the Elementary Progress Report distribution for all schools is Friday, November 17, 2023.
· The Kindergarten Communication of Learning and the Elementary Provincial Reports are to be submitted not later than Monday,February 5, 2024. (Please note: Ministry timelines for report card distribution and placement of Family Day and the reporting PA Day within the school year calendar results in a very short time frame for administrators to read and teachers to edit reports before sending home. Teachers are encouraged to submit the reports earlier if possible.)
