Hello GMSS families,
As we near the end of February, I hope your children are sharing the many activities and learning happening at GMSS to recognize and celebrate Black History Month.
We were blessed by an assembly on Friday which was a collaboration of our Drama club and OSU. The theme of how we are standing on the shoulders of those paving the way, along with great drum music and dancers. Our students loved the presentation.
Classroom teachers are diving into poetry, readings, writings and presenting, as the theme this month is the arts. Please ask your students about the learning.
Students!!! We need to continue working on preparation for the days. Often we are not seeing charged chrome books and many students do not bring pencils or paper. Please help your children work on increasing this responsibility. This is incredibly important as we are moving toward state testing. We do not have loaner chrome books or chargers.
Tomorrow our students that signed up are playing in the Dodgeball from 3:30 - 5:00PM!
