We can't WAIT for next year!

Our PreK Graduates (and three-year-olds) participated in several Summer Camp activities here at the Child Development Center. Check out all the fun we had below 🔽

Several Mondays this summer, the children of the Child Development Center were able to take advantage of the bounce houses and slides provided by 4 Kings Rentals, LLC.

Throughout the summer, our campers received special one-on-one time with our Football Team, The Marching Ballerinas, Jax State Baseball, and Theatre/Drama.

ALL of the Child Development Center beat the heat this summer with "Water Day" Wednesdays!

Each Thursday, our Summer Camp friends took a "walking" field trip to the Public Library for their Summer Reading Program...complete with a UPD escort!

...then on 4 extra special Thursdays, our Campers visited "Mad Hatter Cakes" for a sweet treat!

Finally, each Friday the littles of the Child Development Center enjoyed a Pizza Lunch while working on crafts and classroom activities.

The threes have a HUGE surprise for the next school year...

Our three-year-olds have been learning about the Green Caribbean Reef Octopus

The put their knowledge to the test and created their own friend - meet "Ms. Coral Red Octavius" everyone!

Our three-year-old friends learned all about those 8-legged sea creatures and even completed an octopus obstacle course

Our threes discovered a volcano outside our center!

Our 3’s and Summer Camp kiddos took a fun-filled trip to the “aquarium”!

They got to explore the touch tank and even tested their knowledge with some deep blue sea trivia. Way to go, our smart little barnacles — you made a splash with your curiosity and courage!

Our two-year-old class was also feeling a bit aquatic this summer...as they created fish with fingerpaint!

Our infants enjoyed the sights and sounds of the ocean this summer!

Parents: This fall we will be implementing a yearly registration fee. This fee covers special events, snacks, and classroom parties...without us asking for "donations" each week!

Our student leaders from across the Jax State campus came together to clean and spruce up our center! Organized by the SGA (@Jacksonville State University Dean of Students), this was the first of two workdays planned for their beautification project.

Thank you for loving our littles and for making sure they have an outstanding place to learn!
