.We had an incredible first full week of school! While it was a shame our students had to navigate inclement weather for most of the week, and it looks like another hot one is ahead, our team truly stepped up. A huge thank you to our amazing team of supervision aides for keeping our students supported and safe during indoor recess. Special thanks to our SOSA Cindy for bringing so much fun and joy with Emoji Bingo and the prize wheel! We also want to recognize our entire wellbeing team for being all hands on deck throughout the week.

We hope to see everyone at Back to School Night this Thursday! Looking forward to an another amazing week at Clearwater!

Our instructional focus every day is getting students actively involved in their learning. To help students think critically, we use proven strategies like group work, partner discussions, and visual tools that help them understand big ideas and take charge of their growth.

This focus really comes to life when students show pride in what they are doing. This week, a group asked Mr. Estes to snap a photo of their work on finding equivalent ratios during the daily whiteboard challenge. Seeing that real excitement for learning and math problem solving shows what active engagement is all about!

Thank you parents for your support and patience during student dismissal. Our common goal for staff and parents is to keep our Dolphins safe!

Please continue to:

• Be Patient. Safety and security is our main priority. The pick up process will improve each day.
• Move up to accommodate more cars when in the pick-up loop.
• Stay in your car and do not leave your car unattended when in the pick-up loop (staff will help call for your student).
• Kindergarten parents must park in the parking lot and walk to the MPR to pick up their student.
