Comet Families,

Testing season is here, and our Comets will be participating in several state-mandated assessments throughout this month, including the SAFT (Stand-Alone Field Test), STAAR Interim, and TELPAS.

Below, you will find the testing schedules with the specific dates, times, and grade levels for your convenience. Our teachers and students have been working diligently to prepare for these assessments, and your support plays a vital role in helping our students perform at their best.

It is extremely important that your child is present and arrives on time on testing days. Students who are absent will be required to complete the assessments upon returning to school; however, their testing environment may differ. In such cases, students may be assigned to a different classroom and teacher, which can impact performance. We have observed that some students feel rushed in these situations because they are eager to return to their regular class.

To support your child’s success, we kindly ask that you make every effort to ensure they attend school on testing days and remain for the full testing period. Please also try to schedule appointments outside of testing dates and times whenever possible.
