Madison High School Updates
November 9th, 2025
Message from Mrs. Thomas
Across the country, October and November are months dedicated to fostering College and Career Readiness in students. One of our top priorities at MHS is to expose students to a wide variety of career pathways and equip them with the skills necessary for their success after high school. This past past month, our students have been provided a range of opportunities to explore a variety of career pathways and learn more about post-secondary options. It is never too early to have conversations with your student about their goals & plans after high school!
Community Spotlight
This week, we have several in the Madison Community that we wish to Shine a Spotlight on! MHS students have benefited greatly from members of the community who gave their time and expertise this past week to help educate our students on opportunities and topics to help strengthen our students' Career Readiness Skills.
This past Monday, we had the pleasure of having two, 2025 Alumni on campus to speak about their recent graduation from Marine Boot Camp. Alex Gonzales and Andrew Garcia shared with students what went into their decision to enlist in the Marines and what opportunities are available to them and how they plan to pursue their career aspirations in the military.
In partnership with Align Lenawee, all of our students took part in a Career Fair held here at Madison. Students had the opportunity to speak to a variety of local business & industry representatives to learn more about different careers and local employment opportunities.
This past Friday MHS parent and Certified Financial Planner, Mr. Curt Beagle, presented to all of our seniors as part of their Senior Seminar Course. Mr. Beagle's presentation focused on helping students better understand the personal finance topics they have been studying in the classroom and provided students with practical advice on saving and investing their money.
