ANGELL HALLOWEEN INFORMATION 2026
Angell Families,
Our Halloween Parade is scheduled for 9:00 am on Friday, October 30th. The entire community is welcome to come and enjoy our lap around the outside of school as we show off our costumes and enjoy another opportunity to celebrate as a community.
In the event of inclement weather, we will cancel the parade and do a small costume share within the school with students and staff. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to have everyone come inside. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility with this process.
In an effort to ensure that all costumes are school appropriate please follow the following expectations:
Costume Expectations
We want the day to be fun, safe, and age-appropriate for all of our Angellfish. Please review these expectations with your child:
Age-appropriate and respectful. Costumes should be suitable for elementary students and follow the Angell ACTs: kindness, safety, and productivity. Costumes should not make fun of real people, human traits, or cultures.
No horror or violence themes. Costumes with scary, gory, or violent elements are not allowed.
No weapons or sports equipment. Students may not bring toy guns, knives, swords, bats, hockey sticks, or similar items as part of their costume.
No masks or extreme makeup. Full masks and face paint that hide a student's identity are not allowed. Please also skip the fake blood.
Comfort and safety. Costumes should let students move safely, sit comfortably, and use the restroom on their own.
When to wear costumes. Students should wear their costumes to school on Friday, October 30th. After the parade and classroom celebrations, teachers will let students know if they may change out of their costumes.
Classroom Halloween Parties
Our room parents and classroom teachers have worked collaboratively to plan Halloween parties.
A friendly reminder that all of our celebrations are food free, so please do not send in snacks or goodie bags. Although we appreciate the gesture, it is not consistent with our policy.
Our staff and room parents have planned plenty of fun activities that our students are sure to remember and enjoy. This is a great opportunity for our classrooms to build relationships in a fun way. Please remember that all party volunteers must be pre-approved. Class parties are not a drop-in event. We appreciate your cooperation
Sincerely,
Matt Provost
