Beneke Blast October 23, 2026-October 30, 2026

Dear Beneke Families,

Thank you for another wonderful week at Beneke Elementary! We appreciate your continued partnership and support as we work together to ensure every Bear is successful. We have several exciting activities coming up next week, and we want to share a few important reminders.

Every Day Matters, Every Minute Counts!

Student attendance continues to be a top priority at Beneke Elementary! Every minute of instruction counts, and when students miss school or leave early, they miss valuable learning opportunities. We ask that all families make daily attendance and arriving on time a priority.

We love seeing our parents and families join their Bears for lunch! However, we kindly ask that you do not check your student out of school after lunch unless it is absolutely necessary. Our students still have important instruction and learning opportunities throughout the afternoon. Help us make every instructional minute count!

Red Ribbon Week Is Next Week!

Next week, we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week! This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage our students to make healthy choices and live drug-free lives. We have exciting themed dress-up days and activities planned throughout the week.

Please review the attached Red Ribbon Week flyer for each day's theme and activities. We look forward to seeing our Bears participate!

Candy and Treat Donations Needed!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our families who have already donated candy and treats for our upcoming festivities! Your generosity helps us create memorable experiences for our students.

We are still in need of additional candy and treat donations. If you are able to contribute, we would greatly appreciate your support! Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.

Character Day Parade – Friday, October 30

We are excited for our annual Character Day Parade next Friday, October 30, beginning at 9:45 a.m.!

Families are welcome to attend and cheer on our Bears as they show off their favorite characters. Please arrive early to allow time for parking and getting settled before the parade begins.

Trunk or Treat – Students Only!

We will also host our Trunk or Treat celebration on Friday, October 30, from 1:30–2:30 p.m.

This event is for Beneke students only and will take place during the school day. We are looking forward to a fun afternoon of treats and excitement for our Bears!

If you do not want your child to participate, please make sure your child's teacher is aware in advance so alternative arrangements can be made.

Thank You for Your Continued Support!

We are grateful for our amazing Beneke families and everything you do to support our students and staff. Together, we are building a school community where every child can learn, grow, and succeed.

One Team, One Dream, Stronger Together!

We are on our way to an A by May!

Julie Smith
Principal, Beneke Elementary School

¡Trunk or Treat – Solo para Estudiantes!

Car Rider Number Required

Beginning on the first day of school, families must have a car rider number and the official car rider tag/document provided by the campus in order to pick up their child through the car rider line.

If you need a car rider number or campus car rider tag, please stop by the front office for support.

Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe, organized, and efficient for all of our Bears!

Arrival and Dismissal

School Hours 7:35 AM-3:25 PM

7:35 AM-8:05 AM Student Arrival

8:06 AM Tardy Bell Rings

3:25 PM-3:45 PM Dismissal

All car riders have a car rider number, and parents must have the placard issued by the campus to pick students up from the car rider line.

You may not use a picture of the placard to pick up your student.

If you arrive after 3:45 PM to pick up your student up from the front office with the car rider tag, show your ID, and sign the late dismissal form.

Please be courteous and follow the procedures when using the car rider line.

The traffic pattern is designed for cars to take turns, turning into the parking lot from Briarchase Dr. Please do not form a third line down the center of the road to turn into the car rider line.

Walker A Parents, please do not block the entrance to the neighborhood. In the event of an emergency, an emergency vehicle needs access to the residents' homes. Therefore, you may not park on both sides of the entrance or the main road leading to the neighborhood.

Walker B Parents, please do not park on the side of Briarchase Drive disrupting the car rider line. If your child is a walker you may not call them over to a car where you are parked or driving. You need to exit your vehicle and walk to meet your student.

Llegada y Salida

Horario escolar: 7:35 a. m. – 3:25 p. m.

7:35 a. m. – 8:05 a. m. | Llegada de estudiantes
8:06 a. m. | Suena la campana de tardanza
3:25 p. m. – 3:45 p. m. | Salida
