Parent Update 2025
Watertown High School
Parent Update 10.17.25
With just five weeks left in the trimester, it’s a great time to remind your student to stay focused and finish strong! Early next week, we will be conducting a safety drill to help prepare students and staff for emergency situations. Please remind your child about the importance of staying calm and following instructions during the drill.
Also, please note that there will be no school on October 23 and 24. On October 23, our teachers will be participating in a full day of professional development to continue improving instruction and support for our students.
We appreciate your cooperation and partnership as we work together to create a safe and enriching learning environment.
Parent Survey
Thank you for your continued support of our schools and students. Together, we honor our tradition of excellence while embracing the innovation and transformation needed to prepare learners for the future. A community-wide survey will be mailed to all households by the end of October to gather your feedback regarding a possible WUSD operational referendum in April 2026. Please complete the survey by November 17, 2025—your voice matters!
Parent Teacher Conferences
Monday, October 20 (4:30 pm - 7:30 pm)
WHS will be hosting in person Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday, October 20 from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm in WHS classrooms. Parents can register for Parent Teacher Conferences via Skyward Family Access until Sunday, October 19 at 11:59 p.m.
With that in mind, families are welcome to call or email WHS teachers at any time. If parents or guardians would like to have a face to face meeting with teachers, but can't attend conferences, be sure to schedule an appointment with the teacher in advance. Teacher contact information can be found on the WHS website staff directory.
If you have any questions, please contact the WHS Student Services Office or Administration at any time. We look forward to partnering with families to ensure all of our students find success at WHS!
FAFSA Completion Event
Great Pumpkin Food Drive
Linus is waiting for the Great Pumpkin, and we're hoping and waiting for your donations to benefit the Gosling Nest! Join us for our Great Pumpkin Food Drive to fill our school food pantry. We’re collecting non-perishable items like granola bars, cereal, crackers, canned goods, pasta, and peanut butter to ensure everyone has a happy, hunger-free fall. Your donations will be a treat for students —no tricks involved! Look for our special collection boxes and help us make a difference. Please deliver all donations to WHS by Friday, October 31. Good Grief Goslings, Let’s Give!
