Summit Hill Elementary

As we step into the month of December, our campus is buzzing with excitement, gratitude, and celebration. December brings so many opportunities to reflect on the growth we’ve seen in our students, the support we feel from our families, and the joy that comes from learning together each day.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work our students have shown this semester. Their potential shines brighter than the holiday lights! Thank you for partnering with us, encouraging them, and being part of our school community.

As we wrap up 2025, we look forward to a month filled with learning, fun, and memorable moments for our students. We appreciate your continued support and wish your family a joyful, restful, and heart-warming holiday season.

Here’s to a wonderful December and an even brighter new year ahead! Remember, students do not return to school from the Winter Break until Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

All class holiday parties will be on Friday, December 19th. You MUST be pre-registered to attend. Please note, we will be limiting guests to no more than 2 people per student. This will help us maintain a safe environment and a manageable number of guest on campus. THE DEADLINE TO RSVP FOR OUR HOLIDAY CLASS PARTIES IS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12TH @ 3:00 P.M. Thank you!

We are getting low on sweatpants and leggings. If you are refreshing your closets for the new season, consider donating to your child's school if you have things your child has outgrown. We accept donations of gently used items such as, running shoes, socks, sweats, leggings and t-shirts. Girls & Boys underwear are acceptable if they are clean and in like new condition. Also every student, regardless of age, should carry a change of season appropriate clothing in their backpack. Even "big kids" have accidents, or damage to clothing.

With temperatures getting cooler, please dress your child for the day's expected weather. This may mean layers, like a light jacket and long pants with a t-shirt underneath. Most outdoor times are completed by 1pm for our campus, so they may go out in the morning's cooler temperatures. WRITE THEIR NAME IN THEIR JACKETS!

If your child is sent home in borrowed clothing, please return items as soon as possible. If you are unable to wash them, we can do that after returned.

Dress code concern.. Seeing LOTS of way too short shorts. Spaghetti straps. (even on cold days)
