Veterans Day Assembly

We are once again honored to host a Veterans Day Celebration. All RPS family veterans are invited to join us for a Veterans Day celebration to honor your service on Tuesday, November 11th. Please use the link provided below and on Class Dojo to share your veteran’s photo and military history. If you shared this information last year, you do not need to share it again....we will use last year's information/photo. It will be included in our slide show honoring our veterans. If you can attend, please arrive by 8:30 to our Family Resource Room # 203, where light refreshments will be served. The ceremony will begin in our school gym at 9:00. Unfortunately, due to space restrictions, we are only able to invite veterans to this assembly, not family members.

Happy Fall! There are so many amazing thing going on this month! I hope you all enjoyed the School 101 Parent Workshop that was posted last week. I enjoyed putting all the information together for you and look forward to our next workshop that will be in person this month! The next workshop will be about discovering your child's learning style, and how to use that information to help them at home and at school. This workshop is always a hit and so informative. November is also Family Engagement Month, so please join me in celebrating by creating a thankful feather for Tom the Turkey. I will display Tom in the hall outside the Resource for the children to view, and post pictures on Class Dojo. It is always heartwarming to see all that RPS is thankful for!

Holiday Assistance

Several organizations in our community will begin accepting referrals/ applications soon

to assist families in need this holiday season. If you are in need of assistance this year for

Thanksgiving or Christmas, please contact Dr. Karen Farmer by phone (706-937-5437),

by sending a message on Class Dojo, or through email kfarmer.rps@catoosa.k12.ga.us

so I can send you information about these opportunities once I receive more details.

Parents/guardians will need to contact the school to request assistance for the holidays.

No application forms will be sent home with students without a parent request. The

deadline for all forms to be turned in is November 17th .

Momster Ball!

Be sure to join us for the Annual Mother/Son Dance- The Momster Ball! Dress up, dance, eat, and have your picture made at a night full of fun! Tickets are on sale now and can also be purchased at the door. Pizza is included in your ticket with additional snacks available for purchase.
