The Best Places to Pick Strawberries in Connecticut

(2025 Guide) Strawberry season is here, and there’s no better way to celebrate early summer in Connecticut than with a family trip to a local farm. For a few sweet weeks, these family-run spots open their fields so you can pick your own sun-ripened berries—fresh, fun, and straight from the vine. It’s a timeless New England tradition and a perfect way to spend a morning together. Most farms open between late May and mid-June, depending on the weather, so be sure to check their websites or crop hotlines for the latest updates before heading out.
