To all our amazing mums and special women,

With Mother’s Day just around the corner this weekend, we want to take a moment to really celebrate and thank you for all that you do and all that you are! Your care, strength, patience, and love make such a difference in the lives of your children and our whole community. Whether it’s through a handmade card, a warm hug, or some special moments together, we hope you feel truly appreciated and celebrated. Wishing you a joyful and relaxing day, filled with much love - you totally deserve it!

This week we warmly congratulate our Year 3 students who recently received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. This is a special milestone in these children’s faith journey, as they learn about forgiveness, reflection, and God’s loving mercy. We are so proud of the reverence and maturity they showed in preparing for and participating in this important sacrament. Thank you to our teachers and families for supporting the children along the way - your guidance and encouragement make all the difference.

We’re excited to celebrate Walk to School Day on Friday 15th May! This is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to enjoy some fresh air, get active, and start the day in a positive way. Walking, scooting, or riding to school helps build healthy habits and is a great way to connect with friends along the way. Initiatives like this also encourage families to consider alternatives to driving, helping to reduce traffic congestion around the school, improve safety at drop-off times, and lessen our impact on the environment. We encourage everyone who can to take part and join us in making it a fun and energetic start to the day!

This weekend my family and I are heading down to Dunsborough and on Saturday I am competing in the Margaret River Ultra Marathon in a team of three other friends, with my kids running on the Sunday. My leg involves a lot of running on soft sand ... say no more!!

Wishing you all a brilliant Mother’s Day weekend!

Geordie

In the Catholic tradition, our parish and school are closely connected.

The parish, led by Father Giovanni, provides spiritual leadership and is responsible for ensuring we nurture students’ faith alongside academic learning. The school supports the parish by helping children grow in Catholic values, preparing them for sacraments, and encouraging family participation in parish life.

It’s essentially a partnership — the parish is the faith community, and the school is one of its key ministries. For more information about our Parish, please click here:
