Love the Bus Week, celebrated February 16–20, is coming soon! This special week gives us the opportunity to recognize and thank our dedicated bus drivers for the important role they play in our school community. Each day, they help ensure our students arrive at school safely and start and end their day with a friendly face. If your child is a bus rider, please begin thinking about a small note, drawing, or gesture to help recognize and thank their bus driver during this special week. We look forward to celebrating and showing our appreciation for all they do for our students and families.

The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office school resource officers are taking the plunge - literally - to support Special Olympics 2026! Sgt. Sims will be representing the North Buncombe district please help him in raising the most money!

February is National CTE Month. CTE stands for Career and Technical Education. Our full time CTE Courses at NBMS include Project Lead the Way courses and Family and Consumer Sciences courses. And, thanks to NBHS, we are able to provide one period, one semester of Agriculture courses.

If your child would like to stay after school on Tuesday to participate in this club, they are more than welcome to do so.
