PALM SUNDAY
“Therefore God also exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” -Philippians 2.9-11
Dear Students, Staff, and Families,
Welcome back! I hope you all had a restful and joyful Spring Break.
As we return, we enter into Holy Week, a sacred time in our Church year when we journey with Jesus through His Passion, death, and resurrection. Holy Week invites us to walk closely with Jesus, reflecting on His love, sacrifice, and deep humility.
On this Palm Sunday, the passage from Philippians helps us reflect, that like Jesus, we are called to live with humility, faith, and love in our daily lives. The palms on Palm Sunday symbolize celebration and honor, as the people waved them to welcome Jesus as their King when He entered Jerusalem. They also remind us that while Jesus was welcomed with joy, He would soon face suffering, calling us to follow Him with both faith and commitment. As students and staff, we honor Him by the way we treat one another and by recognizing Him as Lord in all that we do. On Good Friday, we remember that Jesus gave His life for us, showing the greatest act of love and forgiveness. Easter reminds us that through His resurrection, there is always hope, new life, and the promise that God’s love is stronger than anything.
May this week invite each of us to reflect more deeply on Christ’s love, humility, and sacrifice, and to live out our faith in all that we do. Wishing you a blessed Holy Week.
