Academic Excellence Spotlight: National Merit Finalist
Harker Heights High School senior Alexander Kim has been named a finalist in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program, placing him among just 15,000 students nationwide. He’s now eligible to compete for one of roughly 7,500 scholarships to be awarded later this spring. It’s a gold-standard moment that reflects years of focus, leadership, and hard work — and the support of the teachers and family who helped him shine.
