We are in the swing of spring, with lots of PTA fun to look forward to! Below we have our calendar through the end of the school year.

Here are two steps to take right now to make sure you don't miss out:

1. Sign up now and start getting pledges for our Spring Fun Run on April 18. The money raised will help fund PTA for the start of next year.
   
2. Order your 2023-2024 yearbook today! The last day to order is April 5.

Each year Boggess PTA recognizes dedicated teachers and volunteers with Texas PTA Life Member Awards. This year's honorees are incredibly deserving.

Ms. Jennifer Gaertner and Mrs. Kelly Blakey are two of Boggess' most tenured teachers. They lead our second graders with patience and humor, always coming to PTA events to cheer and support their students. They help make Boggess what it is!

Shannon Cox is our current VP of hospitality and has served in many PTA roles as a dedicated volunteer, including grade level coordinator and room parent. She has given so many Bengals a memorable Field Day as the Field Day coordinator for several years.

Simi Sandhu is also a long-time Boggess volunteer. She is our former VP of membership, former VP of volunteers, and currently helps run Boggess Book Club. She's always a volunteer we can count on to help with PTA events.

Our PTA and school are better because of these teachers and volunteers! Thank you!

Elections were held at the March PTA meeting, and we have a strong and energized board for 2024-2025. Thank you to everyone who answered the call to lead our PTA next year!

We owe thanks to Susan Bennett, Mindee Gilbert, and Bridgette Williams for serving on our Nominating Committee. They worked hard to fill positions for the 2024-2025 PTA, and we are set up for a fantastic year!

Benny also wants to recognize Kimberly Sapp for all of the time and care she puts into Boggess. She's an amazing second grade coordinator, planning awesome parties and helping the teachers with various tasks, and she has volunteered at THREE of our after-school programs this year. We couldn't have held them without her help!
