Hello CLE Families!

The time has come for our students to SHINE! Our ATLAS testing is here, and we are so proud of how hard our students have worked and how much they have learned this year. Now it is their opportunity to show what they know and demonstrate their growth!

To help them perform their best, we encourage all students to get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast each morning. A well-rested and well-fed student is more focused, confident, and ready to succeed.

Please take note of the following procedures to ensure a smooth testing experience:

  • Students arriving after 8:15 AM on a testing day will not be permitted into their classroom until testing is complete. They will need to take a make-up test on another day if they miss any testing session.
  • Please try to schedule all appointments outside of the testing schedule (listed below) to avoid disruptions.
  • If possible, avoid checking your child out before lunch to allow them to complete their testing session without interruptions.

Nurse's Note Nurse's Note

Springtime is a wonderful time of the year! We are getting outdoors more and enjoying the warmer weather. For many of us, it also means allergy season is in full force. Runny nose, itchy eyes, headaches, and fatigue are often symptoms of allergies. I have seen many of our students in the last few weeks with many of these signs and symptoms. For the most part, these symptoms are tolerable, but when they are not it is important to reach out to your primary care physician/practitioner for advice and evaluation. If your child is diagnosed with asthma, allergies often trigger exacerbations so it is important to have their rescue medications available. Below are several links with information that can be helpful if you or your child is struggling with allergies. I have included information about indoor environmental allergies as well.
