Greetings Families,

As the end of the year approaches, we have many activities and events to look forward to.

Below I have two different sign-ups for donations: (Can be found on Parent Square)

By April 21 Please donate these items for several special days over the final several weeks of school.

By May 16 Please donate these items for our classroom End of the Year "Let's Glow Crazy" Awards, Video, and Dance Party.

Thank you for considering to donate items to help in making the end of their first grade year fun and memorable.

Thanks,

We have done a great job collecting cereal boxes for the first 3 weeks of The Great Grizzly Cereal Challenge. This challenge will take place throughout quarter 4. Although, we still need boxes. We are halfway to our goal of 1,300. All this in mind, we still need your help collecting cereal boxes. We are collecting boxes from now until April 25th. Let’s keep going grizzlies!

Requirements for boxes:

Any size that can tip over

Rectangular shape (not broken down)

Full or empty boxes

The Homework Menu is sent home each Monday, and it is due by Friday (signed) each week. Each week your child will select and complete eight activities on the menu. The menu is the same for the entire month so a bit of encouragement may be needed to pick different activities. It is ok to place an X or your initials on the activities chosen to keep track of what they have done. Please sign the menu at the bottom. If a child completes his/her homework and returns the menu, then they will be entered into the Homework Lottery to earn Dojo Points. You may keep the practice at home or return it to school. The homework isn't graded it is for the practice and family interaction. Periodically students will have spelling words to practice. Remember you can complete the book borrowing sheet and your child will bring home some books at their reading level. The books can be returned at anytime during the week or on Fridays.
