OUHSD Celebrates 15th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
The 15th Annual OUHSD Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony took place on October 19, 2024, at Feather Falls Casino.
Congratulations to the Class of 2024 inductees: Charles Hastings Deuel, Robert Dugger, Harold Dugger, Tom Frazier, Troy Henderson, Kenneth Lavey, Tonya Paul, Bill Spalding, and Vivian Walker McGee!
The Oroville Union High School District Hall of Fame honors graduates, employees, and major contributors who have distinguished themselves in areas such as scholarships, athletics, ASB activities, career achievements, community service, and societal contributions. This permanent honor highlights individuals whose actions have reflected the District's vision and made a lasting impact.
These Hall of Fame members exemplify the positive influence of Oroville's high schools, continuing to serve as role models who inspire and support current students as they navigate their own paths in academics, athletics, extracurriculars, and community service.

October Spotlight: Celebrating Students and Staff Achievements
October has been a fantastic month at OUHSD, where we’ve had the opportunity to recognize some truly exceptional students and staff members who bring positivity, dedication, and growth to our schools each day. Please join us in celebrating our October Spotlight Winners!
Student Spotlights
Thomas Quintana – Las Plumas High School
"Thomas is a bright spot in my day whenever I see him! Thomas ALWAYS greets me by name when he sees me and asks how I am doing. He is kind to his classmates and teachers. He has shown so much growth these past couple of years, and we are super proud of him!"
— Gem Henderson
Cheyenne Song – Oroville High School
"Cheyenne has grown, as a student and a leader, by leaps and bounds since I first had her as a student 2 years ago. She stepped out of her comfort zone and competed in FCCLA last year (won at the region level!) and, this year, she has stepped up and become an FCCLA region officer. Aside from her leadership skills, Cheyenne is kind, respectful, and has a sense of humor that keeps everyone’s spirits high. I'm excited to see where the future takes her!"
— Sandy Smith
Alexis Robertson – Prospect High School
"Alexis brings a positive vibe to class. She is quick to smile, is willing to help, and takes responsibility for her behavior and education. I love having her at our school!!"
— Dawn White
Maintenance Team Spotlight
Santos Servantes, Russell Grimenstein, and Jason Cash – Maintenance Team
"Santos, Russell, and Jason took very little time off this summer and worked hard to complete many projects during one of our busiest summers. We have a great team!"
— Bill Cash
Congratulations to Our Winners!
Thank you, Thomas, Cheyenne, Alexis, Santos, Russell, and Jason, for making a difference in our schools every day. Your dedication and positivity inspire us all and make OUHSD a better place for everyone. Keep up the fantastic work!
