Fun facts about Samantha, she has been in education for over 11 years, loves organization, exercise and spending time with her husband, daughter and dog Arlo.
Samantha's administrative position is pending board approval on Wednesday, April 26. Please join me in congratulating Samantha on becoming the Assistant Principal at Donald Eismann Elementary.

New Voice, Video Intercom Systems add extra security
We’re thrilled to announce the completion of a greatly-enhanced safety and security measure at our buildings’ front entrances — a voice and video intercom system.
Most buildings districtwide* are now operating the new system, which features a remote door release function. As these intercoms bring about an extra layer of security, so are there extra steps you may have to take before entering the building. After pressing the intercom button, please be prepared to:
- Give your name
- State your purpose for visit
- Show your photo ID
We thank all visitors for being a partner in helping ensure a safe teaching and learning environment for all. This intercom project was made possible through the voter-approved 2018 Technology Levy.
Reminder: Family survey deadline, April 25
We strive to provide the best possible education for all students. In doing so, feedback is critical in helping our schools continually improve. We are seeking information through an 10-15 minute survey that is available now through Tuesday, April 25th. Families with multiple children may complete one survey per child.
To complete the survey,
You can either click on this link or scan the above QR code.
Choose your language preference on the opening page of the survey.
Select your child’s school. If you have children in multiple schools, complete one survey per child.

District Wide Attendance Competition
Be Healthy, Be Here!
As we continue to work towards our goal of 95% daily attendance, the elementary schools of the Sumner Bonney Lake School District are engaging in a district wide attendance competition. The First Annual Attendance Cup will take place April 10th - May 5th. The main intent of our competition is to reinforce healthy behaviors that prevent illness, such as washing hands and covering coughs. A secondary intent is to form a partnership with families in which school attendance takes priority during weekdays, from the start of the day to the end of the day. Thank you in advance for ensuring your child is at school on time every day engaged in learning (when they are healthy).
