TEAM 6
BLUE EAGLES
STUDENTS OF THE MONTH! OCTOBER
Naëlle Michel
Naëlle is an intelligent, optimistic, persistent, and kind student who enjoys cooking and participating in band and chorus. Her short-term goal is to stay consistent with her grades throughout the year and avoid slacking off toward the end, while her long-term goal is to graduate with honors and become a successful entrepreneur. She is currently reading Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard Book 1: The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan, a story about Magnus’s quest to find the Sword of Summer before Surt to delay Ragnarok. Math is her favorite subject because she finds it easier to understand than others. A teacher who has inspired her is her 7th-grade ELA teacher, Mrs. Robinson, who taught her that it’s okay to fail the first time as long as she keeps trying.
Clovis Burgess
Clovis is a thoughtful, serious, and hardworking student who enjoys hockey, coding, and playing both the piano and the cello. His short-term goal is to earn all A’s this school year, and his long-term goal is to secure a job he enjoys. He is currently reading Rule of Wolves and enjoys learning about science the most, as he finds it fun to explore the earth and understand how things work. All of his teachers inspire him to try harder and do his best, making it difficult for him to choose a single favorite.
