CFMS Week of 10/26 Update
Good afternoon Trailblazer families,
This week is Red Ribbon Week and our SWAT club is organizing themed dress up days and daily announcements. Red Ribbon Week the nation's oldest and largest drug-prevention awareness program and we look forward to this student sponsored initiative. Wednesday we have our annual "Pink Out" in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness 🩷. See the flyer below for more information and we hope your student will take part in the themed dress up days.
What an amazing time we had at our National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony last Wednesday. 90 students were inducted after being nominated by the faculty and staff based on five core pillars: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Citizenship, and Character. Congratulations to those students and families. Thank you to our NJHS sponsors, Ms. Osborn and Mrs. Welch.
Congratulations to our Cross Country Teams! Last Friday they competed in the Pinellas County Athletic Conference (PCAC) Championships and our girls team came in 5th and our boys team came in 1st! What a wonderful season and we look forward to them competing at the state competition here soon. Soccer tryouts are coming up and athletic packets will be available this week for students. You can CLICK HERE for athletic paperwork information. On that page are two hyperlinks where you can download/ print the needed paperwork. Physical and participation forms must be completed in order to try out.
We are still looking for guest speakers for our upcoming Great American Teach In. If you are interested, please reach out to Mrs. Meade at Meadet@pcsb.org.
That's all for now and make sure you are following us on Facebook and Instagram! Please consider leaving a teacher shout out using the link below..
