What a fun day we had at Middlebrook! So many of our students came dressed up and enthusiastically participated, and our staff joined in on the fun by dressing up, too! The excitement continued throughout the day as students enjoyed playing Bingo and searching for Waldo in different places around the school. Our Bingo winners had some pretty funny discoveries, including Waldo reading a book, getting a drink at the water fountain, chatting with a student, and even spotting TWO Waldos! It was wonderful to see so many smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the building.
In addition to all the fun, we also conducted a reunification drill this week. Our students did an outstanding job following directions, listening carefully, and demonstrating patience throughout the process. We are so proud of how well they handled this important safety practice!
Thank you for your continued support and for helping make Middlebrook such a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Our school psychologist, Mrs. Lee, recently visited all Grade 5 classrooms to talk with students about the importance of using technology responsibly at home. Discussions focused on appropriate messaging, making thoughtful choices when communicating online, and understanding how interactions outside of school can impact relationships and learning during the school day. Students were encouraged to think before they send, and make choices that reflect kindness and respect both online and in person.
