Welcome Back, Clairmont Families!

We are excited to welcome our students and families back for another wonderful school year! School resumes Friday, July 24, 2026, and we can't wait to see everyone.

Attendance matters! Starting the day on time helps students build positive routines and sets them up for success. Breakfast is served in the cafeteria beginning at 7:30 a.m. Students who are not eating breakfast should arrive by 7:45 a.m. to line up with their class. Instruction begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. every day, so please help your child arrive on time and ready to learn.

This weekly newsletter will continue to be sent every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. to keep you informed about upcoming events, important dates, and school news.

New this year: Students will bring home paper notices every Wednesday. Please take a few moments each Wednesday to check your child's backpack and review any important information or forms from school.

We are looking forward to partnering with you and your family for another fantastic year of learning, growth, and success. See you on Friday, July 24!

In partnership,
Nanci Johnston

Fingerprinting Fingerprinting

Become a Clairmont Volunteer!

Did you miss our on-site fingerprinting event last year? Are you a new Clairmont Family? No problem—there's still plenty of time to get cleared to volunteer at Clairmont!

Fingerprinting is required for classroom volunteers, field trip chaperones, and Science Camp chaperones. To learn more and begin the clearance process, please visit the Lodi USD Volunteer page.

Once completed, your fingerprint clearance remains valid for the entire time your child attends Clairmont Elementary.

We love having families involved in our school! Throughout the year, we'll be looking for classroom volunteers to support student learning, as well as volunteers to chaperone field trips. Families of current 5th and 6th grade students are especially encouraged to complete the fingerprinting process if you're interested in serving as a Science Camp chaperone with your student, provided we meet our fundraising goal.

Thank you for partnering with us to make Clairmont a wonderful place for our students to learn and grow!

Have You Reported Your Students' Absence? Have You Reported Your Students' Absence?

If your student will be out, be sure to call the office at 209-953-8267 optioin 3, to report your their absence. Students who have a medical or dental appointment will need to bring a note from their doctor upon their return.

Additionally, it is important your student arrives on time, ready to learn. Students should be on the blacktop at 7:55 AM, school starts at 8:00 AM and students are expected to be in their classes at this time. If students are arriving to school late, they are missing critical time that sets the structure for their day, including instruction and warm-up activities
