Early Release on Wednesday

Wednesday, June 4th is the annual Junior Rose Parade. Students will be released at 11 AM as a result.

Here's some important information:

• School dismisses at 11:00 AM due to the streets around our school becoming a staging area for the parade. Teachers can leave after every student has been picked up or enroute home if they are walkers. The office will close by 11:30 AM. This is because the streets around our school become the staging area for the parade. It is NOT because the parade is part of our school program--it is not.
  • School lunch will not be served. School breakfast, however, is available until 10:30 AM.
  • The buses will depart by 11:10 AM and drop students at their regular bus stop shortly after that. Please make sure you have arrangements to have them met at the bus stop IF they are not able to get home alone (Kindergartners must be met).
  • Parents- please notify teachers directly if there are different pickup plans than normal. IF your child is going home with a different adult, you MUST send a note to your teacher saying who is picking them up.
  • YMCA will be operating starting
