ELA- Mr. Jones
This week we asked students to continue writing their blogs using 3D Details to Show and not Tell. They were to incorporate Dialogue in their blogs for this week as well. Students also watched a Brainpop video on Dialogue and took a short quiz. Next week students will focus on using Figurative Language in their writing. Please remind students to check Google Classroom and their school email account every week day.

Science- Mrs. Creath
This week students researched an animal and the behaviors it exhibits in order increase its chances of survival. You should ask your kiddo to see their presentation! I’m so proud of all of the kids and what they made!
Next week we’ll be looking at factors that influence plant growth. Students will have videos to watch and articles to read in order to gather information about these factors.
I will also be posting enrichment/extension activities if you feel like your child needs to be learning more. These are optional, but they will be on Google Classroom under the “This Week” category (where the other assignments are located).
