September 4th Newsletter
Hello Montessori Families!
We had a great first week! Returning students got right back to work, and our new students jumped right in!
Please make sure to communicate our car line rules to anyone who is picking up or dropping off for you - such as grandparents or babysitters. It is important that adults stay in the car at all times. If your child needs help buckling, it is best to park and walk up to get them. Please help us keep everyone safe and the car line moving quickly!
We had an exciting morning today! A huge congratulations to two of our students for their roles in the upcoming Whitman Montessori play!! Shout out to Katie K for getting Narrator 1 and Preston J for getting the King! We can't wait to see the show!!
We have school expectation matrices to help students know what is expected of them in different locations. On Thursday, AP students led Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary students through rotations to go over our expectations. Should out to our AP students for leading this and helping everyone know what is expected of them! If you'd like to know more, you can view our matrices here!

Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual Wauwatosa Montessori PTSA Tailgate Party! Watch the Packers play the Vikings and compete in (or just enjoy!) a chili and dessert competition. There will be games, crafts, additional snacks for purchase and more. Sign up for the chili and dessert competition here!
PTSA Meeting: Tuesday, Sept. 15, 7-8:30 p.m.
All are welcome to join for the first Wauwatosa Montessori School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) meeting of the year! The first meeting will include a vote on our school year budget and what initiatives the PTSA will be funding. Join virtually (link sent out day of) or in Room 30 (AP). Thank you to all of the caregivers that came by for a cuppa coffee after drop off on the first day! We also extend a HUGE thank you to Cuppa Tosa Kitchen & Cafe for their generous donation of coffee for our Back to School Parent Social. Check out their new location at 11320 West Bluemound Road.

Fresh Hot Popcorn every Tuesday
We will once again have the opportunity to order popcorn on Tuesdays. The price is $.75 per bag. Students order it on Tuesday morning and the Next Steps crew make the popcorn and deliver it same day. So yummy!
