SHINE ON!

Happy weekend all! Last week was short but we made the most of it!

In Music and Chapel class, we met in the Sanctuary for our November SHINE Sesh. This month, we're concentrating on waiting our turn/accepting disappointment. When its not our turn or we have to wait, instead of saying "That's not fair", we say "Oh well, maybe next time!". We read "Waiting isn't Easy" by Mo Willems and discussed waiting our turn. It may also be our turn to watch and get a turn next time.

After prayerful consideration, we decided to cancel our 2025 Vendor Fair. These uncertain times are affecting so many in our area and GBP family. We look forward to seeing our talented Vendors next year!

November Lunch Bunch and Enrichment links are posted below. Art, STEM and Creative Movement all start this week! Art is full but we have openings in STEM and Creative Movement.

On November 24th and 25th, we'll enjoy Thanksgiving Special Chapel and our Friendship Feasts. Big People, siblings and guests are invited to join us in Asbury Hall for a deconstructed Thanksgiving Feast immediately following Special Chapel. We will also make Christmas cards for deployed service members and LUMC's homebound members. Sign ups for food donations will come out in the next newsletter.

We have a couple openings in our 3s and 4s classes. If you know of you anyone looking for a preschool family, send them our way! We also have a couple openings in our Friday Enrichment class. Friday Frogs is open to current Bees and Owls (4s) and T/TH 3s. The class meets every Friday from 9am-12pm and is STEM based. Contact Ms. Heather to sign up or for more information.

Please remember to pull up as far as possible on Wirt Street during drop off and pick up. Also, please do not block the driveway to the left of the Wirt Street doors, we do not own that property. Lastly, please remember (and share with anyone else who may pick up your children): our Owls and Bees are in their classrooms until Noon. If you arrive before noon to pick up your Owls/Bees/siblings, please remain in your vehicle so you can pull up when other parents leave.

-2s and 3s pick up: 11:50am-12pm

-4s and siblings pick up: 12-12:15pm
