Dear Park Families,

As we approach the end of the school year, I want to express my sincere gratitude to each of you. May is a busy month filled with End of the Year testing, field trips, and class/school celebrations. Throughout the year, I have been incredibly impressed by the dedication and hard work your children have shown. They have accomplished so much, and I am confident they will continue to achieve great things in their lives. Your support has been invaluable, and I thank you for your continued partnership.

As we wrap up this school year, let's celebrate the growth and successes of our students and look forward to the exciting opportunities that await them. Wishing you a restful and enjoyable summer break!

Teacher Appreciation Week: May 5-9 Teacher Appreciation Week: May 5-9

Well, howdy folks! It’s time to show our teachers some extra appreciation as we wind down this 2024-2025 school year.

This week is teacher appreciation week! (May 5-9, 2025)

Your child received a horseshoe paper from school. We kindly ask for your assistance in helping them write a small note to their teacher. Once completed, please have your child cut out the note and return it to the front office by May 9.

For those who wish to do a little extra, you can discover your child's teacher's favorite things by visiting our school website at park.nebo.edu. Click on "Faculty" in the top black bar (it will appear in white lettering), find your child's teacher, and click on "Favorite Things." Please note, this is entirely optional.

Thanks,

Sydney Carlson

Student Attendance Celebration at Springville Recreation Center

We are thrilled to recognize students with 94% attendance during the 4th term with a special outing to the Springville Recreation Center on Mqy 16. Students are requested to wear swimsuits under their clothes to school and bring a towel. They will have the opportunity to swim for approximately 1 hour. After swimming, students will dry off with a towel, board the bus, and then have time to change in the school bathrooms. There will be ample supervision provided by faculty, staff, and lifeguards at the pool.

Schedule:

  • Preschool/Kindergarten: Enjoy a fun "water" day at school during school hours.

  • 10:00-12:00: 1st Grade

  • 11:00-1:00: 2nd & 3rd Grade

  • 12:00-2:00: 4th & 5th Grade

Lunch:
All students will receive a sack lunch from school or may bring their own from home. Each group will have lunch at different times based on bus loading schedules for the Recreation Center.

Additional Information:

  • Older students will assist younger ones in the pool.
  • Please refrain from bringing life jackets or other devises for the pool. We will make sure they stay in the side of the pool that is reserved for them and where they can touch for younger students.
  • Students that don't qualify for the reward party will be in the Library with teachers doing some work from class.

It has been a joy to witness their growth and achievements throughout the year. Thank you for raising such remarkable kids. As we transition into summer, please remember that I am here to assist in any way I can.
