A Big Congratulations to Our Teacher of the Year, Raquel Boccoli!
We are thrilled to celebrate our amazing Teacher of the Year, Raquel Boccoli! With nearly 30 years of teaching experience across a variety of schools, we are so lucky to have her as part of the Gage community. Raquel brings boundless energy and a deep commitment to her students every day, inspiring them to reach high—even when tackling challenging concepts, from cumulus clouds to other advanced topics.
Her classroom shines with her collaborative spirit, as she works hand-in-hand with colleagues and families to support learning and growth. We are so grateful for Raquel, whose dedication, passion, and joyful spirit continue to brighten our community every single day!
💚 Thank You for Your Generosity 💚
Holiday Celebrations Throughout the Season
Several classrooms learned about various holidays throughout the school year. Below are images capturing some of the moments shared during the last two weeks. A special appreciation goes to the families who joined us and shared their celebrations with our community.
Some of our other classrooms focused on bringing winter a little closer to San Diego, creating art pieces that helped us feel one step closer to snowy days. We also recognize that our community has room to grow in this area, and we remain committed to learning and growing together.

Gators Got Talent Sign-Up
Now through Winter Break, sign up your child to be a Performer or on the Production Crew of Gage's Talent Show! The evening performance will be 3/26/26 and we cannot wait! (Note, if you already filled out the previous interest form, you do not need to sign up; we will follow up with you to confirm participation.)
Heads up that there will be an Act Preview in mid- to late-January (dates and times will be assigned in early January) to ensure all acts are appropriate and under 2 minutes in length, as well as to determine what props or accompaniment are needed. Let's go Gators!
Gage and Gulls!
