LCAP GOAL SPOTLIGHT: GOAL 4, DISTRICT SYSTEMS
The LCAP can be a lot to take in at once! So each newsletter, will share very briefly about one goal. For more information in an easy to read format, see the LCAP Briefing Book here.
Goal 4 of the PUSD LCAP: Systems and processes of the district are effective, transparent, and efficient. The central office is responsive to the needs of school sites.
Metrics to measure success of Goal 4: Percentage of on-time plan submissions, percentage of plans reviewed with feedback, average "target met" score, percentage of budget reports posted monthly, percentage of academic return on investment reports completed.
This is a newly-created goal. Feedback from the community indicated a desire for a more transparent and understandable process related to budget information; an understanding of tools and practices utilized to monitor and evaluate action effectiveness; and continued shared decision-making processes among educational partners and district personnel, as appropriate. This goal is aligned with Pillar 4 of the Imagine PUSD 2028 Strategic Plan, which focuses on creating an effective, responsive, and accountable organization.
