Cougar Connection
March
As we embrace the arrival of spring, we are also gearing up for the planning process for next school year. The task of placing students into classes is intricate, involving various components to ensure each child's needs are met effectively. We understand the importance of creating a conducive classroom environment for optimal learning, which is why we invite parents to provide input on the type of environment they believe their child thrives in. If you wish to share your insights, please visit the front office to pick up a form. While we will make every effort to accommodate your preferences, please note that we cannot guarantee specific placements. The input process will remain open from March 3 to May 30. Kindly remember that forms must be submitted in person, as emailed requests will not be accepted this year. Thank you for your collaboration as we strive to provide the best educational experience for all our students.
Warm regards,
Cari Trowbridge
Principal

District Nutrition Policy
As the holidays approach I just wanted to give our families a reminder about our Policy 6700 around Nutrition. As a district we are allowed to have only one class party a month with snacks that are not Smart Snacks. We encourage our families to contact their child's teacher for alternative ways that birthdays can be celebrated in the classroom. You can find the policy at the link below.
