Transportation- Plan Accordingly!

Student Parking:

Student parking permits are now on sale. All students who park on campus must register their vehicle and provide proper documentation to prevent the vehicle from being towed. To register your vehicle, you must provide a paper application that signed by a guardian, $30.00 (cash, check to Cedar Shoals High School or paid online here) a drivers license, and proof of insurance to Ms. Link in the front office. A link to the application with parking permit guidelines for the 25-26 school year can be found here or in the main office.

Bus Information:

Many students do not know their bus number. Please make sure that your child knows their bus number and bus route. Each bus has been assigned a bus route. Students and families can access bus route information at this link. Click on the EDULOG link and enter the student grade level and address to find your specific route. Additional transportation information can be found on the school district's website here.

Car Line:

Students are to be dropped off and picked up in front of the main academic building. Due to volume, the line does back up and can take a while. In the morning, please give yourself PLENTY of time to ensure your student(s) arrives to first period class on time. We typically see our highest traffic volume between 8:20-8:40 am. Students are allowed to be dropped off as early as 8:00 am and can occupy the lunchroom until school begins.

Car Line Rules:

  • For morning drop off, please pull all the way forward to maximize drop off efficiency and keep the line moving. Dropping students off directly in front of the school doors causes traffic to back up.
  • Drivers must be fully attentive to students and staff at all crosswalks. Cell phone usage must be hands-free.
