Feedback is important to any organization or following an event. Dr. Atwell has put together a survey to gather your input concerning student and community engagement. Complete a survey for each campus at which you have a child attending. Your prompt attention is very much appreciated.

School Choice is the program authorized by the Arkansas General Assembly in The Public School Choice Act of 2015, which allows parents to apply for their child’s admission to participating school districts other than the one in which they reside. The Mountainburg Public School District will accept eligible students from other school districts under the School Choice program during the 2024-25 school year.

April 22-24 11 members Attended the State FFA Convention held in Hot Springs. Members attended several sessions where they learned about all the FFA has to offer students in several areas of Agriculture. Bryce Beasley accepted the National Chapter Award for the Mountainburg Chapter. Jyme Hall and Cassidy Turner both received their State FFA Degrees. Makayla Rodriguez received her own FFA Jacket sponsored by the Local Farm Credit.

It was a night to recognize academic success at MHS at the 2024 MHS Academic Banquet. This year marks the 33rd year for this event. Our guest speaker for the evening was Senator Jim Petty.

Thank you to everyone that attended.

Congratulations to the Dragons Baseball team!! They will play in the Regional Baseball Tournament in Lavaca this coming week. The bracket will be posted when it is made available.

Diamond Dragon seniors, Lane Biery and John Shepherd, autographed a baseball and gave it to a teacher who had a huge impact on their life. Lane chose Mrs. Teague and John Shepherd chose Mrs. Christian. Go Dragons!
