Parents,
We wanted to give you an update on a couple of assessments that are coming up for your child.
In May, we will have students take the Panorama survey to measure their emotional growth from last year. This assessment is researched-backed and is used to provide a snapshot of a student's strengths and areas of growth in the different realms. We use this data to plan what social /emotional lessons we should focus on building-wide for all students. Students' individual answers to the questions do not get viewed by anyone; however we see their overall results by category. Please CLICK HERE if you would like to view a copy of the survey. This is the third year we have used this survey (and these questions). For more information on Panorama, please visit https://www.panoramaed.com/about to learn about their mission and vision.
Students will also be taking the MySAEBRS assessment in the Fall and in the Spring. Similar to Panorama, this assessment helps us identify student strengths and areas of growth in Social, Emotional and Academic. You can preview those questionshere. For more information on MySAEBRS, please visit this website: https://fastbridge.illuminateed.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260802484089-mySAEBRS-Overview

Message from Nurse Abby for All Upcoming 7th Graders
Dear Parent or Guardian:
I hope this letter finds you and your family well. As you begin making summer plans, appointments for sports physicals, and other activities in the upcoming months, please follow up with your medical provider regarding your child’s immunizations.
The meningococcal vaccine (MenACWY) and tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (TDAP) are two vaccine requirements for 7th grade students.
Please submit documentation before the first day of school, August 16th 2023, so we can update their school health file in compliance with the regulations for the State of Kansas related to students entering 7th grade.
If you have any questions about your child’s immunization status, contact your primary care provider, local health department, or I can be reached at abby.martin@usd340.org.
Thank you,
Nurse Abby
