From the Superintendent's Office

The Genesee County Health Department will be hosting a Vaccination Clinic at Lake Fenton High School on Tuesday, May 18th from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. They will be administering the Pfizer vaccine, so anyone 12 and older can participate. This is open to the public. Feel free to share this information with friends and family.

Children ages 12 and older are now eligible for the Pfizer vaccine and it will be available to them at the vaccination clinic on May 18th at Lake Fenton High School.

All student chromebooks and chargers will be collected at the end of the school year. This will allow us to repair broken devices and to provide newer devices at several grade levels.

• At West Shore, families will work with individual classroom teachers to turn in devices.
• At the other schools, all devices will be turned in on Thursday, June 10th.

If you are unable to get your child’s device to their school during normal school hours, we will be collecting devices at the middle school main office until 6:00pm on Thursday, June 10th.

Technology Department

We are very excited to share that we will have two four-legged friends joining our Lake Fenton Family next Fall.

Charlie, a black lab and Diva, a golden lab. Each dog will live with a Lake Fenton staff member, and the dogs will serve as emotional support animals for our students. Interested staff members submitted applications and Paradise Dog Training reviewed applications, conducted home visits and selected the staff members who would serve as host families.

The purchase of the dogs was made possible with donations from our community members through the Lake Fenton Education Foundation and the PTO.

We are so grateful to have them join our family.
