Things Happening✨
- No School on Monday, February 16th for Presidents' Day
- February Castle Time – Trustworthiness 🏰
- On February 20, students will gather in the gym to focus on the character trait of trustworthiness through a story and real-life scenarios. Castles will then create “trustworthy chains” and finish by linking them together and participating in a fun trust walk. We’re looking forward to another great afternoon of building character and strengthening our school community!
- The ND A+ Winter Interims are officially wrapped up! 📝
- Good luck to our students competing in the County Spelling Bee on February 23 at 12:30 PM in Drake! Representing our school are Willow B., Jasper H., Rhodes B., and Rayna B. We’re proud of you and can’t wait to cheer you on!
- This month's Secret Pen Pal theme is Favorite Winter Olympic Sport ❄️🏅.
- 🔭🧪 MSU Science Open House Field Trip
- The 4th–6th graders will be traveling to Minot on February 17 to attend the Science Open House at Minot State University. Barbie will be preparing sack lunches for the group. It should be a fun, hands-on day of learning and exploration for our students! 🔭🧪
- Dr. Seuss Week is right around the corner! We’re looking forward to a week filled with fun dress-up days, special reading activities, and lots of celebrating the joy of books together. Stay tuned for more details coming soon!
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 17 from 2:00–8:00 PM. We look forward to connecting with families and sharing all the great things happening with your students. Specific conference times will be sent home at the beginning of March.

The 4th graders recently wrapped up their unit on the planets. To celebrate their learning, students completed a research project on a planet and created a model showing the planets to scale. It was exciting seeing their hard work come together, and the projects showed just how much they learned about our solar system.
