Quick Announcements
- The College Credit Plus Registration Link.
- We kindly request that you refrain from using the staff parking lot during arrival and dismissal times for dropping off or picking up your students. Utilizing this area can impede access for buses and staff entering the parking lot, and it raises safety concerns for all students.
Reminder:
Procedure for picking students up early. When picking up your child from school for appointments, not feeling well, or other reasons;
- You will be required to park your car
- Enter the building

2025 Northeast Ohio Art Education Association Youth Art Month
The following students have had their artwork selected to be part of the
2025 Northeast Ohio Art Education Association Youth Art Month (YAM) Regional
Exhibition. The exhibition will be on display March 6 - April 6. Everyone is invited to attend the
awards presentation and reception on Sunday, April 6, at White Rabbit Gallery. All artwork
in the following grade level categories (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12) will receive participation
awards, and there will also be awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, and Best in Show. Awards and
prizes will be presented at the closing reception.
The show includes more than 100 works of art from across the Northeast region. It celebrates every student’s accomplishment. The visual arts are important because they help us understand the world, our culture, and our history. Art helps children express themselves, and develop their imaginations and creativity. Visual art education helps children develop critical thinking skills, learn about different
traditions, and help foster problem-solving skills. We are thrilled that your art teacher(s)
provided this opportunity for your students. We appreciate your support of the visual arts.

PBIS Survey
Dear SMS Families,
We would like to learn about how you feel about your student's school. Please take a few moments to complete this SMS School Climate Survey to help us. We will use your answers to find ways we can improve our school. You do not have to answer all of the questions. The survey is anonymous - nobody will know that your answers came from you. We appreciate you taking the time to fill this out.
Additionally, we will be asking students to complete a similar survey to understand how they feel about their school. If you do not want your student to participate, please complete THIS FORM, send it back to school and ask your student to return it to the second floor office.
STRONG
At the beginning of this quarter, Strongsville Middle School has retired our PBIS PRIDE montra and have adopted STRONG. While the most of the elementary schools are still using PRIDE, we decided to join the high school with STRONG.
