Hagerman School Board members voted to approve powerlifting for Hagerman High School boys and girls to participate in this coming spring semester. Special thanks to Powerlifting Coaches Deb Grider & Drew Manzanares for advocating to get this program started for our students. Coach Grider and Manzanares have experience in the sport and are "pumped" to get the program going.

Our Bobcats will have the oppourtunity to compete in three lifts (Bench Press, Dead Lift, & Squat) in several weight divisions to see how strong we really are. The season will begin in January with the state meet in April if we have any athletes in the top 8 in their weight class in any of the three lifts.

Thank you to all the parents and athletes that attended the meeting on 8/11. Please watch this video as part of preseason information for parents and athletes.
