We are in our last full week of school before summer break! Lots of information below please make sure you take the time and read it.

Check with your students on their grades and projects, lots of classes are doing projects and they need to make sure they are turned in on time.

Students and Staff of the Week Students and Staff of the Week

This year the Leadership class has decided to change how student and staff awards are given. This will be done twice a month, with 1 boy and 1 girl winning from each grade level. One week we will have girl winners and one week we will have boy winners. The leadership class was able to get some Gift Card donations from local businesses to add to the award gift package. Teachers are also asked to be more thoughtful and provide the why with their nomination. When teachers nominate students they are looking for the following:

Integrity

Responsibility

Respect

Effort

We had 1 highschool student and 9 middle school students qualify for nationals in 13 separate events. Camden Pfeifer finished his season with a 3rd place finish in Chess giving Jefferson West Esports their first national podium placement. Our MarioKart team (Ledger Brown, Abigail Downing, Cade Arnold, Caden Schuetz, and Easton Haid) finished their season with a 4th place finish. Leroy Staniec finished his tournament series ranked 7th in overall points standings. We also had multiple students that were able to advance to the quarter final rounds.

Overall it was a great season. The students held their own and represented the district well. We would all like to thank you for your support and encouragement throughout this first year.

24-25 Middle School Football Season- Incoming 7th and 8th Graders 24-25 Middle School Football Season- Incoming 7th and 8th Graders

Middle School football players, the time is quickly approaching for our summer football camp. Paper copies were handed out to the future 7th and 8th graders Friday morning. Be sure to check your child’s folder for this. Due date and form is on the last page of the packet. Tear it off. Please include your child’s first and last name on the form, as I don’t teach every one of them this year! If your child didn’t get a form and is interested, please have them see me for a form to send home!
