Four Points Middle School

Voice. Choice. Engagement: it soars through the Falcon's Nest into the hallways and lands in the classrooms! What a flight for LISD Board of Trustees President Trish Bode who sees for herself learning is happening at Four Points Middle School. Connections are happening.

Plain Elementary

Put your dancing shoes on! Teachers are movin' and groovin' at Plain Elementary, plugging away at filling spots during quarantines. Students aren't missing a beat! Superintendent Bruce Gearing, Ed.D. witnesses how that can-do spirit is thriving among the Pride.

Leander ISD Virtual Job Fairs for elementary and secondary teaching positions will be held on April 21 and April 28. For more information about the job fairs and registration process, click here.

Child Nutrition Services will be preparing delicious, ready to heat and eat meals for this spring break. For more information on free meals during spring break.

LISD will be moving forward in the expansion of a permanent online school offering at the secondary level, including the creation of a Virtual Learning Academy.

The LISD Board of Trustees has a pair of special meetings this week, March 9 and March 11. The Board will conduct its next regular meeting March 25.

Leander ISD is now accepting applications for the Foreign Exchange Student (FES) Program for the 2021-22 school year.

The 2021 School Quality Survey has been extended to March 28. Help us make our schools work for you and your family! Take the survey to share feedback about student and academic support, school leadership, safety, family involvement, and more. All responses are strictly confidential.

April 12 will be a regular school day to make up for the snow day on Jan. 11. Students need the minutes and staff contracts require employees to make up the time, therefore, we will use the bad weather makeup day allocated in our calendar. For our secondary students, this will be an A day.
