Hello Parents, Guardians and Caregivers!

Welcome back to school! Allow me to introduce myself. I am Mrs. Ketterl the School Counselor here in Manvel. I will be here everyday all day to assist students, parents and staff. I am extremely excited to get to know all the wonderful children and families in Manvel. I have a passion for working with children supporting them, while helping them reach their full potential. I am thankful to you for sharing them with me. Please feel free to contact me anytime you have a question or concern.

Being Mindful

When we are mindful of how we are doing, and how others are doing, we can lift each other up.

Classroom Counseling Classroom Counseling

I will be going into the classrooms on a weekly basis to discuss many topics with the students. The focus as we start this school year will be on feelings/emotions. We all are experiencing many emotions and in very different ways. This is okay! We will explore together ways to cope with the feelings and what maybe has not worked well. We will be doing a school wide project on mindfulness. Manvel Mustang's are a mindful family here to lift one another up. Being mindful of one another will allow each student to succeed in school.

I am here to support the students not only in the classroom but with individual counseling and small group counseling. If you notice anything concerning or just have questions please feel free to reach out, i am here to support you too!
