We can hardly believe it’s already November! The school year is off to an amazing start, and we are so thankful for all our families who have helped make it such a great one so far.

On Thursday, November 6, Oxford Elementary will be having their annual Veterans Day Program at 10AM. All community members are invited to honor those who have served.

As temperatures continue to drop, we know snow will be here before we know it. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. Jackets are required when the temperature is below 50 degrees. When snow is on the ground or temperatures are in the 30s or lower, students should wear winter gear—hat, gloves, snow pants, and snow boots—to stay warm and dry during recess. Take a moment to check your child’s winter gear to ensure everything fits and is ready for the colder days ahead. If your family needs assistance with winter gear, please reach out to Brandy Miner at brandy.miner@westfieldpioneers.org—we are happy to help.

We also ask that students continue bringing a water bottle each day. Our water fountains will remain closed to help prevent the spread of illnesses.

If you have not signed your child up for Aftercare here is the link to the Google Registration Form. If you have already signed up there is no need to sign up again. If in an event you no longer need the service please contact the front office.

We love dogs, but for the safety of all students, and staff, dogs are not allowed on school property.
If your dog rides along during drop-off or pick-up, please be sure to keep them safely in your vehicle.
