Early Release⛄

Dear Bedford Public Schools Community,

The weather forecast for tomorrow, Thursday, February 6, 2025, presents many challenges. I am in close touch with other area superintendents and Bedford’s Department of Public Works, the Facilities team, and Bedford Charter bus company. At this point, I have determined that we will have an early release day (with the exception of preschool, which will be canceled), with the following standard early dismissal times (which means lunch will not be served):

JGMS: 11:05 am

BHS: 11:08 am

Lane: 11:30 am

Davis: 12:05 pm

Preschool: No School

Afternoon Activities: Canceled

However, we will continue to closely monitor the timing of the anticipated snow and ice. If it begins earlier than currently forecast and may significantly impact safety for school arrival or dismissal, I may cancel school altogether. I plan to make a final decision right around 4:00 am tomorrow morning, but I will notify families via email/text/phone only if there is a change to a full snow day. Please note that in any case, afternoon and evening activities are canceled for tomorrow. Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and understanding.

Sincerely,

Cliff Chuang 莊 宏 毅

Superintendent, Bedford Public Schools
