Catch the Reading Wave!

Dear Basswood Families,

February is when Basswood hosts our annual Read A Thon. We hope all our bulldogs "Catch the Reading Wave." We have set a school-wide goal of reading 400,0000 minutes this month. So, to meet this goal we need all of our students to log the minutes they spend reading. Younger students may also record minutes when someone read to them. It is time to check out some great books and read, Read, READ. If everyone reads 15 minutes per day we will meet our goal

The principals have something big planned for when we meet the reading goal. Students will be learning more about it on BWTV. In mid-February, students will vote for their favorite celebration. Once all the minutes are tallied and the votes are counted we celebrate together!

Have a great weekend!
