Trailblazer Times
February 14, 2025
Hello, Trailblazer Families,
Happy Valentine's Day! We had such a fun day together! Thank you to all that donated time and treats to our classrooms and to our staff!
We had a big week of Wonder Projects, a kindergarten music program, Valentine parties, and the Fifth Grade Living Museum. We thank you so much for all of your support as we engage our students in learning and fun!
Please see lunchroom guidelines below. When Rollins opened, the expectation was for a maximum of two students to be selected to eat with a student and their family. We have continued to follow these guidelines not only for student safety, but also to keep noise levels down around the learning stairs. Students upstairs are actively learning during part of lunch times, so we want to show respect for their learning by avoiding crowded spaces outside the lunchroom. Guidelines will be posted at tables as reminders. As always, outside food cannot be brought into any cafeteria space due to their required guidelines.
Students are tardy starting at 7:45. As a reminder, we begin drop-off at 7:15, and typically, there is slower traffic from this time until around 7:40. Classrooms start promptly at 7:45, and we want to ensure that students are able to engage in all parts of the learning day.
There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Monday, February 17, due to professional development for teachers. There is a possibility of winter weather next week, and we will keep you up to date as we hear of any changes to our school days. Have a great weekend!
