NEWSLETTER | TERM 1 | WEEK 4 | 26 FEBRUARY 2026
Good afternoon parents and caregivers,
It is with great excitement that you may have noticed the brickwork now in place in our new classrooms. The walls are up and the outline of these wonderful learning spaces is really beginning to take shape. Although the recent hot weather has caused a few delays, our builders are working hard to keep the project moving forward and on schedule.
I have also noticed that a number of students are not wearing the correct sports shoes. A reminder to families that students are required to wear all black sports shoes with their sports uniform. Over the long weekend, please take the opportunity to ensure your child has the correct footwear for the weeks ahead. Thank you to the many families who continue to support the school in upholding our uniform expectations.
A reminder that the daily attendance roll is conducted at 8:30am each day. If your child arrives after the commencement of the school day, they are required to sign in on SEQTA Kiosk at the front office. If it is a planned absences due to illness or appointments, best practice is to contact the classroom teacher directly or complete the Absentee Form on the website. Additionally, I also ask that parents are to make their way out of the classrooms before 8:30am, or do not enter the classroom after this time, as each class begins their morning with a morning circle, and it becomes very disruptive if parents are still in the room.
I wish all our Year Four to Six students the very best for tomorrow’s Interhouse Swimming Carnival. A sincere thank you to Miss Newton for the time, effort and organisation she has put into preparing for this wonderful event.
Have a wonderful, relaxing extra-long weekend and I look forward to seeing everyone back to school on Wednesday, March 4.
God bless
Rebecca Clarke

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
It has been wonderful to see so many students excitedly filling in their 250 Nights of Reading logs as they work towards their first milestone of 50 nights. Thank you for your continued support at home. Keep encouraging your child to read each night and remember, all types of reading count! Comics, picture books, chapter books, poems and shared family stories all help build confident, capable readers.
In our Early Years space, we are excited to be implementing our Early Years Charter across our classrooms and outdoor learning environments. Our first key initiative focuses on enhancing our Outdoor Learning spaces. Over the coming weeks, you may see members of our team gathering feedback, asking questions and connecting with families as we begin collecting ideas and insights. We value partnership with our community and look forward to working together to create engaging, purposeful outdoor spaces for our children.
We wish our Year 4–6 students all the very best for tomorrow’s Interhouse Swimming Carnival. We hope they have a fantastic day filled with fun, teamwork and school spirit!
Wishing you all a safe and relaxing long weekend.
